Sean and Kara - Getting Ready / DetailsKara started the day at her soon to be Mother in Law's Pinterest worthy home! The house was filled with amazing light that set the stage for a perfect day! If you've been following me for a while, you know I love the details. One of the reasons details are so much fun to photograph is every wedding is unique and different, every location is special, and every detail added means something special to each bride and groom! Sean and kara - First LookSean and Kara decided to share a "first look" and it was perfect! There was light rain all day, which they say is good luck on your wedding day, right? I think so! Sean waited patiently while Kara made her grand march to lay eyes on her future husband for the first time! There was so much excitement in this moment, with the groomsmen spying from the party bus and the bridesmaids peaking from the behind the window! A first look surrounded by some of the best friends they could ask for! sean and Kara - Bridal partyWith just a week until the wedding, the forecast of rain didn't seem like it was going away. Kara (being the awesome bride she was) contacted Packard Proving Grounds and we were able to get some amazing shots on their grounds! Some awesome old warehouse's, cars, and even an airplane hangar where Amelia Earhart flew out of! The light was gorgeous and the colors were perfect for this spring wedding! Sean and Kara - Bridal PortraitsWOW!!! That is one word that keeps coming to mind with Sean and Kara's Bridal Portraits! They turned out amazing. The venue definitely added something extra and I am so glad to have had a proactive bride come up with such an amazing solution to stay out of the rain! We did have a chance to get a break in the drizzle and some outside pictures were a must! Kara, you were a gorgeous bride! Sean and kara - CeremonyOn the way to the ceremony, the bridal party decided to stop at the a local pub for a "pre-ceremony" shot! This was a first for me as a photographer, but I loved the idea it was a cool experience for Sean and Kara to have one last shot with their closest friends before they tied the knot! The ceremony was held at Noah's Event Center, and it was the perfect setting for Sean and Kara's big day! Beautiful light flew throughout the room and Sean and Kara vowed to forever with each other! It was a special moment to be a part of. I have known Kara for almost 10 years now and so happy to have the privilege to photograph this amazing wedding. Sean and kara - ReceptionQuickly after the ceremony, the dance floor began! Kara and Sean made their grand march...but first, let me take a selfie! It was the perfect way to enter! Kara and Sean were a pleasure to work with, and their day was perfect!
Thank YOU, Dittrich's for having me be a part of your special day! Don't forget to leave a comment for the bride and groom to read while they are soaking up the sun on their honeymoon!!
