Elopement at The Carriage House at Lac La Belle - Danny and Sammi are the epitomy of what love is. Love is patient and kind.
Danny started the day by making an early trip to the Carriage House to drop off champagne and some other goodies for Sammi and her MOH Callie to enjoy! COVID-19 has had a huge impact on the wedding industry. Couples, Venues, Vendors, etc. Is this the wedding that they had been planning for months and months? Probably not! But this day will be unforgettable! A small intimate ceremony. True and pure happiness. Two people that fell in love. Two people that said, "I do!" And I couldn't have been more happy and excited to have captured this wedding day for them.
Bonus Points: I was able to sign the marriage certificate - first time for everything! Danny and Sammi, Congrats!! and Cheers to a life time of happiness (If Danny can pop the champagne bottle correctly...see below!)
Seth and Jenna's Wedding was such a magical day for so many reasons. I have had the privilege of knowing this couple for years now. When Jenna asked me to photograph their big day, I was ecstatic. Jenna is the owner and creative director for Company and Cheer, a local one stop shop event planning company. She and I have worked on numerous events together so I knew that this "event" (AKA her WEDDING!) was going to be nothing short of amazing. We initially met to discuss her design ideas and inspiration...and seeing it all come to fruition was absolutely perfect. The decor, the people, the vendors, the venue....I couldn't have asked for anything better.
Where do I begin?! When I received the initial inquiry from Wade and Jaclyn, I knew it was going to be a perfect fit. Their love story started at Quiznos...who doesn't love Quiznos! Their love blossomed into something beautiful and the joy shown on their big day was something special. Wade and Jaclyn are amazing and genuine people. It's people and days like this that remind me why I do what I do. We started at the Hilton Double Tree where Wade and Jaclyn were getting ready. Wade and Jaclyn did their "first look" and it was a "WOW" moment! We then went to the River Walk to get some stunning images of the soon to be Bride and Groom!
I've had the special privilege of knowing Kara for years now! My sister and Kara were roommates throughout their time at college! Kara and I instantly became friends and I have loved getting to see her meet her special someone and say "I Do". The venue was stunning, the couple is amazing, and the joy shared was second to none!
Joe and Jenny brought their cat to their engagement session. That was the moment I knew they were going to be an amazing couple to work with! The day started off with cold weather and rain...but they say that's good luck, right?! We started the day at the Holiday Inn where Joe and Jenny were getting ready! We spent some time here photographing the little details of their wedding day and documented both Joe and Jenny getting ready to see each other for their "first look"!
With the recent snowfall in Milwaukee, I thought it was the perfect time to travel down memory lane to last February and re-visit Spencer and Alyssa's perfect "winter wonderland" wedding in Grand Rapids, MI. I have had the pleasure of knowing Spencer and Alyssa since college. When they asked me to be their wedding photographer, I was stoked! It was the perfect day. Laughter, joy, and excitement were the three words that kept coming to mind when thinking of their day! It was perfect in every way from the details, to the light snow that was falling, and the joy that was flowing from Spencer and Alyssa! We started at the church photographing the little details that made this day so perfect!
Ty and Kelsey's Wedding day started off with a fresh dusting of snow that coated the ground. That's all you want for your "Winter Wonderland" dream wedding, right?! Well, Kelsey got it! It was amazing. Hope Lutheran Church was the perfect place for Ty and Kelsey to vow to do life together. Kelsey's wedding dress was amazing. Her bouquet...Yes! She MADE it herself. Does anyone else think being a florist is in her future?! I do!
These two were amazing to work with! I have personally known Amberly for over 20 years. We both grew up in the same church, and she happens to share the same birthday as my sister (fun fact!). When Amberly reached out to me to photograph her wedding, I couldn't have been more excited! The River Room on the Milwaukee located in Grafton, WI was the perfect setting for these two to say, "I Do!".
To say that this day was amazing would be an understatement! A few days prior to Riley and Catherine's big day at The Waters Oshkosh I received a call from Catherine stating that the venue was invaded by little mayflies! I didn't think it would be that bad but when I looked at the weather and saw that there were SO MANY mayflies that doppler radar picked them up...I was shocked! We rolled with the punches and still got amazing results that I am so happy with! We started the day by getting ready at The Waters - which was the perfect setting!
